This document is a review draft and is not in force. Prepared on 15 September 2026. It describes the current application configuration; production-provider settings must be checked before publication.
1. Operator and scope
Godsend is operated by Marek Jóźwiak, ul. Okopowa 14/92, 01-063 Warszawa, Poland, NIP 5273223291, REGON 545009660. Contact: [CONTACT_EMAIL — to be confirmed before publication].
This notice covers cookies and similar browser storage used by Godsend. Cookies are small values a browser can send with requests to the relevant website. Local storage keeps values in your browser for use by that website and does not automatically send them with every request. Both can fall under rules governing storage on your device.
The Privacy notice separately explains account records, server logs, recipients, retention, and your data-protection rights. A technology does not become exempt from consent rules merely because it uses local storage or operates without a cookie.
2. Storage used by the application
Godsend sets the following storage when you use the relevant feature. Not every visitor receives every item.
On secure HTTPS deployments, authentication-cookie names may carry the __Secure- prefix. Temporary authentication state can also be used during an external sign-in or a session-only sign-in choice. It is limited to completing and securing that flow; it is not used for analytics or advertising.
Authentication cookies are restricted to the relevant host and configured to limit access from page scripts. They are required for the sign-in service you request. Blocking them can prevent sign-in or cause protected requests to fail.
Theme, framework, and sidebar values contain interface choices rather than advertising identifiers. They are written in response to using the relevant controls. We use them only to provide or remember that requested preference. Any use beyond what is necessary for the requested function requires the appropriate separate choice before storage begins.
3. Analytics and advertising
The current application does not enable optional browser analytics, advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or session replay. Visiting the site or accepting its terms does not constitute consent to introduce them.
If we introduce product analytics, the planned provider is PostHog Cloud EU. Before it is enabled, we will identify the actual storage and identifiers, data collected, recipients, purposes, and retention periods. We will provide a choice that leaves optional analytics off until you agree, makes rejection as easy as acceptance, and lets you withdraw consent as easily as you gave it.
Refusing optional analytics will not block documentation, account access, purchases, or licensed downloads. A future consent mechanism must stop optional collection after withdrawal and deal with stored optional identifiers. The site does not currently offer an analytics-preferences panel because optional analytics is not active.
Necessary security and operational server records are described in the Privacy notice. Calling a record “security” or “operational” does not authorize an unrelated marketing use.
4. Checkout and external sign-in
Following a link to Polar checkout, GitHub, or Google takes you into a service with its own browser-storage practices and privacy information. Those providers control storage on their own services. Their checkout or sign-in choices do not amount to consent to Godsend analytics.
Our hosting and security provider may use additional storage if a security challenge or protection feature is enabled. Before enabling such a feature, we must identify its actual cookies, purpose, lifetime, and applicable consent treatment. This draft does not claim that every cookie a provider could set is currently present.
5. Your controls
You can change the theme, framework, or sidebar choice using the corresponding site control. You can also inspect, block, or delete cookies and local storage through your browser’s privacy or site-data settings. The procedure depends on the browser.
Clearing site storage resets saved preferences and may sign you out. Blocking necessary authentication storage can prevent account features from working. Clearing browser storage does not close your account, cancel a subscription, delete server records, or revoke a license.
For questions or a request concerning personal data associated with browser storage, use the contact in section 1. The Privacy notice explains the relevant rights and complaint route.
6. Updates
We will revise this notice when the technologies or their purposes change. Where a change requires consent, updating this page alone is not sufficient: the required choice must be provided before the new optional storage or access takes place.
